By collecting and analyzing match data, we ensure we pick teams that complement our strengths, giving us the edge in every match. We’re proud to share this data online through our custom tool, SPAMALYTICS FRC Strategy Tool, a project of FRC 180 S.P.A.M. Robotics, empowering our strategy and inspiring others.

About SPAMalytics

SPAMALYTICS v2.4 is a powerful Google Sheet template designed to optimize our competition strategy. Crafted by contributors George Wallace, Warren Boudreaux, and Jennifer Woods, this tool reflects our team’s dedication to innovation. To get started, visit the original sheet, go to File > Make a Copy (or Share > Make a Copy on mobile), and save it to your Google Drive for personal use.

How to Use SPAMalytics

  • Match List Tab: Enter or paste your event’s match schedule here. Hide this tab once complete for a cleaner view.

  • Match Data Tab: Sync this with the Data Input sheet using an ImportRange function to track every match played. Hide on all but the main Data Input sheet.

  • Summary Tab: View cumulative tournament data, including Effective Score and customizable Sort coefficients for building pick lists. This tab refines our game model.

  • Match Strategy Tab: Plan your next match by entering a match number in the yellow box—the table auto-populates with key stats.

  • Team Report Tab: Dive into a team’s performance by entering their number in the yellow box to see all their match stats.
