The Heart of S.P.A.M. Innovation
To inspire high school students to be tomorrow’s science, technology, and engineering leaders by engaging them today in a mentor-based program wheStep into the S.P.A.M. STEM Robotics Center, a 6,500-square-foot hub at the Martin School District Offices, 1939 SE Federal Hwy, Stuart, FL 34994, where FRC 180 S.P.A.M. designs, builds, and tests robots that drive our success. This dynamic space—featuring a full-size competition field, and advanced build areas also hosts our LEGO Robotics camps each year.re we design, fabricate, build, program, and test a robot for the FIRST Robotics Competition, whereby gaining essential skills needed to be successful in a professional workplace.

What Makes Our Space Special
-
Collaborative Haven: A 6,500 sq ft facility fostering teamwork among students, mentors, and industry partners.
-
Cutting-Edge Tools: Equipped with CNC machines, 3D printers, and workstations for CAD, machining, and programming sub-teams.
-
Multi-Purpose Design: The pit adapts for competitions, while build spaces support FLL tournaments and hands-on STEM learning.
-
Community Anchor: Open for outreach events, inspiring thousands of students and families with interactive STEM experiences.
Reached Our Long-Term Goal!
S.P.A.M. has grown significantly in recent years, resulting in overcrowding in the former Pit. Additionally, the increasing size of field pieces and game robots surpassed the Pit’s height limitations, forcing the team to seek alternative practice spaces.
Thanks to the generosity of the Martin School District Board of Directors, we were able to secure a new space at the Martin School District Offices, providing our team with a much-needed facility to continue our work.
